FLEECE HARNESSES

* When walking their dog, many people find that using a harness can help with the problem of the dog pulling on lead, although this should not be the real intention of using a harness.
    * A well fitting harness will be broad enough not to cut into the dog and should not tighten in use.
    * It should sit far enough back so as not to dig in to the dogs armpits
    * When fitted correctly it should allow the harness to support the dogs body weight, reducing the damage caused by the dog pulling on collar and lead.
    * There should be a buckle on both sides of the body alleviating the need to pick up the dogs legs this can cause discomfort to the dog and give a bad association with the harness.
Each harness has a contrasting girth strap in black, which assists in not showing the inevitable dirt which our dogs can gather onwalkies
This girth strap is held completely flat with the use of small pieces of durable elastic; this also holds the fleece in the correct position.
This innovative design prevents the adjusters slipping once the harness has been correctly fitted on the dog.

Many harnesses on the market today are made with narrow fabrics which can be most uncomfortable for the dogs to wear;
our fleece harnesses are made with a top quality broad fleece with black tape firmly stitched on top.
This broad fleece makes the harness straps very wide and comfortable, preventing sore areas and distributing the dogs weight over a wider area.
All parts of the harness are covered in top quality fleece, giving padding throughout for the comfort of your dog.
It is essential for the dogs comfort that any harness does not give when being worn as it could cause the harness to rub against the dogs body
this has been overcome with this design.
These harnesses can be machine washed at a low temperature. We advise against tumble drying as this can cause the fabric to pill or shrink.

Snuggle Pets leads are made from a tube of our top quality fleece with strong webbing firmly stitched on both sides of the fleece. This makes the lead very strong in use. The fleece also extends around the handle so is soft and comfortable in use. It is also washable at a low temperature.
